Baltimore Piano Academy

Baltimore Piano Academy is a piano learning center in Parkville. Students of all ages and playing experience can take 30-minute piano lessons once a week and prepare for voluntary participation in performances, auditions, competitions, and recitals. The instructor customizes lessons to the goals, interests, age, level, and musical preferences of each student and incorporates a fun and engaging approach for optimal results. The owner and teacher received her Masters of Music in Performance and Pedagogy /Piano Major from the State Conservatory in Baku, USSR and today is a member of a number of associations including the Music Teachers National Association, the Maryland Music Teachers Association, and the American College of Musicians.

Lisa Rehwoldt Classical Piano

Lisa Rehwoldt Classical Piano brings over 25 years of teaching experience to piano students in Ellicott City. The center specializes in classical piano instruction, music literature, music theory, ear training, and applied piano lessons, and students can sign up for 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions. Students are required to practice a set amount of time depending on their level and have an opportunity to perform in studio recitals twice a year. The award-winning teacher, Dr. Lisa Rehwoldt, holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance with a minor in music history from Oberlin College as well as a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master of Music in piano performance from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Rehwoldt is also a member of the National Music Teachers Association as well as the Maryland State Music Teachers Association and was awarded the Paderewski Gold Medal from the National Guild of Piano Teachers.

Lydia's Piano Studio

Lydia's Piano Studio offers piano lessons to the residents of Westminster. The center presently counts over 55 students including children as young as six to adults, and lessons focus on sight-reading, technique, ear training, composition, and theory. The teacher uses different styles to help individuals find the music they love to play, and students at the center can perform at various recitals and competitions such as at Starry Night Bakery and the Clavinova Festival in order to further increase confidence and musical ability. The owner and teacher, Lydia Bandy, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from McDaniel College and is a member of the Barnes-Ferencz Competition Committee as well. Ms. Bandy is also available to perform on the piano and Celtic harp at weddings, parties, corporate events, and other venues.
