Focusing on a farm to table philosophy, Blue Ribbon is a Seattle-based company founded in 1995 with the goal of bringing the family back to the table with homemade meals meant to be enjoyed together. Classes focus on hands-on experience to further that aim, but they also offer larger classes for corporate team building and events, as weel as family-style catering services. Cooking classes typically last three hours and are hands-on and include appetizers on arrival and a selection of microbrews or Northwest wines and signature non-alcoholic beverages. Reservations are required and must be prepaid. They hold awards that include Best of Weddings in 2014, 2015, and 2016 by The Knot and the Loves Me Award in 2015 by Bride & Groom Seattle.
