Colorado is not a no-fault state. You may sue a responsible party in Loveland if you are injured in any way during an accident, auto-related or not. You do not need to have serious or permanent injuries to file a lawsuit against the liable party. All parties must have minimum levels of liability insurance, which are $25,000 and $50,000 for partial and total bodily injury liability, respectively, per person, per accident, and $15,000 for property damage, per accident, to uphold financial accountability.
