Since 1950, the St. Anthony Foundation has been helping vulnerable communities in San Leandro. It offers treatments to men who have no income and are struggling with substance abuse. Patients can get therapy and counseling, along with medical treatment and psychiatric care. They can also receive spiritual services and job training to allow them to obtain short-term and long-term employment. Additionally, the group has a feeding and clothing program, a medical clinic, a winter shelter, and community safety services.
