Ballroom Dance Schools brings decades of training experience to dance students in the Tucson area. Individuals come to the center to learn how to dance for social reasons, to compete professionally, or for an upcoming wedding and can learn ballroom, country,sSwing, and Latin styles. Instructors who have experience teaching all around the world use a tried and true system to get the desired results whatever the student's goals, and sessions focus on various aspects including the five elements of dancing, frame, posture, core dance positions, lead and follow, and timing. Private lessons are also available, and students can train to become a Certified Ballroom Dance Teacher as well.

Danswest Dance has been providing dance lessons in Tucson for over 30 years. Students of all ages from two and a half-year-olds to adults can learn and enjoy the art of dance with classes available in classical tap, jazz, ballet, modern dance, contemporary tap, lyrical, hip hop, pop jazz, and contemporary jazz. The center has an annual spring recital for students to perform in, and individuals who are invited to join or who pass an audition to join the Danswest Dance Company will also perform in over a dozen shows each season including for Oktoberfest, the Arizona Jazz Showcase, the National TapDance Day, and at regional competitions. Danswest Dance sells dance clothing and shoes as well.

Gotta Dance! teaches dance in the Tucson area. Kids can sign up for Tiny Tots, Little Dancers, Intro to Dance for the basics of ballet, jazz, and movement, and classes for hip hop, musical theater, lyrical/contemporary, and jazz. The school's Adult Program has lessons in ballet, hip hop, country, ballrooom, and swing, and private instruction is available as well. Parents can also hold themed birthday parties at Gotta Dance!, and details are available on the studio's website. The center is an active contributor to the community with regular events such as Dancing With Our Stars to support the Southern Arizona Diaper Bank and activities in partnership with Ben’s Bells Kindness Education Programs.

Studio West is a Tucson dance studio backed by almost 40 years of teaching experience. Students can sign up for private or group lessons in Latin, ballroom, and country-western styles, and individuals come to the studio for Social Parties as well to practice skills, meet new people, and enjoy the art dancing. Instructors teach dances such as the waltz, foxtrot, tango, two-step, salsa, cha-cha, swing, and rumba, and students also get exposure to periodic guest teachers as well. One of the co-owners also teaches at the Let’s Dance Club, and the other previously toured with the organization Up With People. The center is open Monday through Saturday, and a full schedule of classes can be viewed online.

Tucson Music & Dance Academy has been teaching dance in Tucson since 1995. The center has taught thousands of individuals in both music and dance, and students from the age of two on up come to the center for Mommy & Me, Tutus for Tots, ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, musical theatre, specialty dance, and ballet for adults as well. The studio features a floating floor to prevent injuries, and teachers are from professional dance companies and/or hold Master's Degrees. Students are taught respect, discipline, teamwork, fun, and friendship and can participate in recitals, exams, and master classes as well as possibly create their very own class with friends.
